 Joseph Timmons is a practicing artist, who for the last forty years has been applying his talents to the creation of jewelry. Knowledgeable in all the major art mediums, he chose jewelry because of the artistic freedom combined with the technical requirement of metalsmithing.
Approximately half of the pieces created are done on an individual commission basis. In many cases, a potential client will have seen Mr. Timmons' work and want to acquire a piece. A review of slides (physical or digital) of representational pieces is accomplished, either in person, mail or electronically, resulting in a discussion of the pros and cons of the buyer's tastes and preferences. With these preferences in mind, Mr. Timmons executes the requested piece blending the client's desires with his creative talents. Most commissions take a month to complete and prices start at $100.00.
